Data We Collect
- Technical data such as your IP address, browser type and device information

- Payment information, entered directly into our payment provider's secure fields; we never receive or store your full card number

Sharing Your Data
We share personal data only with the parties that help us run and promote the store, and only what they need to do their job: our payment processors, our supplier in China, which packs and dispatches your order, the delivery carriers who bring your parcel to you, ParcelPanel, the order-tracking service behind our Track Your Order page, and Shopify, the platform that hosts and powers this store. Because we list our products on Google, details of your visit and of any order, such as the pages and products you view and the value and contents of your order, are also sent to Google through the Google tag on this site, so that we can measure and promote those listings. For the same purpose, your order details are sent to the provider of the app we use to manage our product listings on Google. We never sell or rent your personal data.
Cookies
Cookies keep your shopping cart working between pages, remember preferences between visits, and help us understand aggregate traffic patterns. Some are strictly necessary for the site to function and are always on. For visitors in the United Kingdom, the others, such as analytics cookies, are only set after you accept them in our cookie banner; the banner appears again if you clear this site's cookies, so you can change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Because Novaro is established in the Netherlands, we handle your data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and for customers and visitors in the United Kingdom, the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply as well. We rely on performance of a contract to process and deliver your order, on legal obligation to keep tax and accounting records, on your consent for marketing email and for non-essential cookies, on our legitimate interest in measuring the results of our Google listings for the order details we send to the app that manages those listings, which you can object to at any time, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the store secure and working properly. If you believe we have handled your data wrongly, tell us first and we will put it right. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority: in the Netherlands, where Novaro is established, this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (the Dutch Data Protection Authority), through its website autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl, and in the United Kingdom it is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), through its website ico.org.uk.
Children's Privacy
This store is intended for customers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and we delete it without delay if we discover we have.
International Data Transfers
Novaro is based in the Netherlands, so we handle your personal data from within the European Union. Your name, delivery address, phone number and order details go to our supplier in China so it can pack and dispatch your order. Some of the other providers we rely on, including our hosting platform, our payment processors and Google, may also store or process data in countries outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. China and some of these other countries are not recognised by the UK or the EU as providing an adequate level of data protection. You can contact us at any time to ask how your data is protected when it is transferred. In each case we share only what is needed for the purpose described in this policy.
Data Security and Retention
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and restricted internal access to order data. We keep personal data only as long as we genuinely need it, to provide your order, meet accounting and tax obligations, and resolve any dispute that may arise.
